Cream Cheese Peanut Butter Pie Recipe

One of the things I like about this Cream Cheese Peanut Butter Pie recipe is that it starts with a premade graham cracker crust. If you are not experienced in baking or do not have time to make your crust, then buying one is perfectly fine.

Here’s what you need:

  • 1 (9 inches) Graham Cracker Pie Crust
  • One (8 oz.) cream cheese softened
  • One cup creamy peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp. granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract

  • Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
  • Beat together the cream cheese, 1/2 cup peanut butter, and confectioner’s sugar until smooth.
  • Spread filling into pie crust.
  • Bake for 8 minutes in a preheated oven. Cool completely on a wire rack while you make the topping.
  • Beat whipping cream with granulated sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  • Spread or pipe whipped cream over cooled pie. Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup peanut butter over the top of the whipped cream layer; gently spread to the edges so that it sticks to the whipped cream layer. Chill until serving time (at least 2 hours). Enjoy!

  •  If using natural peanut butter, place the peanut butter jar upside down in a bowl of hot water for several minutes to soften peanut butter enough to easily spread.
  • You can use a store-bought graham cracker crust or create your own: crush 1 and 3/4 cups (9 crackers) crushed graham crackers until fine; stir in 4 tablespoons melted butter and press into a 9-inch pie plate. Bake in a preheated 450 degree F (230 degrees C) oven for 10 minutes.
  • When whipping cream make sure the bowl and beaters are very cold to get the best results. Chill them in your refrigerator before using.
  • Always chill your pie before you cut it so that the filling will be firm and easier to slice!
